In 2002 I was diagnosed with MCSS and Thyroid Cancer. I was told by doctors I could no longer work with chemicals required with touch-up and auto painting. After 13 yrs in the male dominated auto industry I found myself with out the skills required for the administrative job market. Wondering what to do to support my family it came to mind that many pre-owned car managers had asked if I could do anything about problems with mirrors, handles, running boards & trim pieces on the car. As a touch-up person the pieces could only be painted with flat black which would peel off with inweeks. This has been a problem for many years so I began to work on a product that would restore the original appearance. After a year of trial & error I developed an auto stain in 2003 and offered it to car dealerships, detail
shops, family & friends doing the work myself. More & more I would hear 'What is this and where can I get some?'
It was my formula that only myself & daughter knew.
You can give your pre-owned car that new manufacture look. This process is a stain not a paint therefore no
pealing, cracking or fading. Finishing Touch is applied with a stain pad not a paint gun so there is never over spray
on the car and no taping needed. Finishing Touch is used for mirrors, door handles, running boards, bumpers cladding, side molding, bed covers and grills. It not only works on black but can be used on dark gray as well.
From 2010 to March 2015 I licensed my formula under ReNu Finish. Consumer Reports, May 2014 (pg 53) named ReNu top product among 5 tested for 70 days and 10 washes. Finishing Touch is the same amazing formula
that was tested and developed by Catherine Martin in 2003.

After her divorce she was in upper management in the corporate world and was forced to do the ‘male duties’ around the house, including maintenance on her vehicles using skills she learned from her brothers. The corporate world was demanding with long hours leaving little time to raise her teen daughters, so she traded a suit for jeans and was trained to do ‘automotive touch-up’ for car dealerships. In 2002 she was diagnosed with Graves' disease, MCSS, and her Thyroid was removed. She was then told by doctors she could no-longer work with chemicals required with touch-up and auto painting.
